To
reserve a Von Caïd puppy, please email us with information about
yourself and family where one of our prospective little ones will be
living. Include all experience with dogs and in particular German
Shepherds that you may have. Tell us all about your expectations and
what you have planned for the life of one of our puppies. Because
we have only the best interest and welfare for our dogs at heart, we
are very particular as to where are puppies go. It is of the utmost
importance to us that our puppies are matched with the proper
families that will appreciate them and give them the kind of loving
home we want for them. We will go out of our way to match the right
puppy that will best match your lifestyle and expectations.
After our initial e-mails, we will want to speak to you by phone. We
check our e-mails daily, so we will get back to you shortly.
We
require a deposit of $300 to hold a puppy who is purchased with
Limited Registration (not to be used for breeding). A deposit of
$500 is required for puppies sold with Full Registration (those who
are breeding/show prospects). Pricing : Pet Home $1,200,
Black Mask Pet Home $ 1,500, Breeding Rights -
$2,500. Please understand that we will
only hold a puppy when a deposit is received. Understand that
deposits are non-refundable. If you reserve a particular color of
pup (or sex) and that puppy is not available in the litter you sent
a deposit in for, you may use that deposit towards a future litter.
We will make every effort to keep you updated on the birth of
expected litters and to send pictures or update the website with
pictures.
Remainder of Payment:
If you have placed a deposit on a puppy before the
puppy is 6 weeks old, the remainder of the
puppy price must be paid by the time the puppy is 6 weeks old. If
the puppy is being shipped, any and all shipping costs must also
be paid at this time. The reason I do this is to ensure that the
puppy is sold. Unfortunately,
if I wait too late to receive payment and something
goes wrong I will have to try to re-sell the puppy at an older age
and this can be hard to do. This way if the puppy price is not
paid by the 6th week I have time to find the puppy another home
and he/she will still be able to leave my home by 8 weeks old. If
you do not pay for your puppy by the 6th week then I will be
forced to sell the puppy to another buyer.
Final
Payments : If you make your payment right at the 6 week mark I
require cash, postal money order or bank certified check.
Picking Puppies:
Puppies are reserved and selected in the order that the deposit
was received with the exception of 1st pick male and 1st pick
female. Please let Me know if you are interested specifically in
the 1st pick puppies
We
recommend all puppy buyers to purchase and read documentation that
will assist them in raising a healthy well balanced dog once in
their home.
Long Coated
German Shepherds are active, highly intelligent dogs. They
need mental stimulation to be in overall good health and to do what
the breed was created for. Find something that you enjoy and
that your dog is good at and GET INVOLVED! They are very easy
to train and have an instinct to want to please....use this to your
advantage!
